Now hiring: we are hiring a milling machine operator in Fayette County, Alabama. You will work at a fabrication and machining plant. Your main tasks: • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges • Keep in-process inspection records and log production counts • Select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors • Machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing You should have: • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade • Willing to work rotating shifts and night shift At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
