Urgent requirement: we are hiring a MIG welder in Sharkey County, Mississippi. The job is in a heavy engineering unit. What we are looking for: • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety Day to day you will read fabrication drawings and weld symbols; bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding; weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions; set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness; tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing. Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. We offer $150 per day plus benefits. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Full-time, day shift.
