Ideal candidate: • Understanding of safe digging near underground services • Able to operate excavator, loader and dozer confidently Day-to-day duties: • Read site drawings and follow the batter and slope profiles • Carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension • Keep a safe distance from excavation edges and overhead lines • Load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket • Excavate trenches and foundations to the marked depths and grade levels Rotating shifts.
