Quality checker • Marion County, South Carolina

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a quality checker in Marion County, South Carolina. The job is in a metal fabrication workshop. On a typical shift you will inspect welds, paint finish and surface defects under inspection lighting; escalate recurring defects to the line supervisor or QA engineer; draw samples from batches according to AQL sampling plans; record measurements on inspection sheets and SPC charts; measure finished parts with vernier callipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges; calibrate and verify hand gauges before each shift. Ideal candidate: • Prior experience as a QC inspector in manufacturing • Strong attention to detail and accurate record-keeping • Confident using vernier callipers, micrometers and gauges At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
