Join our team: we are hiring a D6/D8 dozer operator in Grundy County, Illinois. Ideal candidate: • Able to read grade stakes, drawings and site levels • Knowledge of daily greasing and pre-start inspections • Good understanding of cut-and-fill and batter slopes The role involves: • Grade and level subgrade for roads, pads and platforms • Follow GPS and laser grade control to hit design levels • Maintain haul roads and keep drainage falls clear • Backfill trenches and foundations once services are laid • Cut and fill ground to the levels marked on the grade stakes Six days a week, one day off.
