Heavy equipment operator — Buena Vista County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a heavy equipment operator in Buena Vista County, Iowa. What we are looking for: • Confident working to fine grade and tight tolerances • Own PPE — safety boots, hi-vis and hard hat • Sound understanding of daily maintenance and greasing On the job you will handle: • Excavate trenches for water, sewer and cable runs • Strip and stockpile topsoil ready for reuse • Dig foundation trenches and footings to the marked depths and levels • Load spoil into tippers and dumpers cleanly without spillage • Dig and trim drainage channels and attenuation ponds Full-time with occasional weekends.
