Production welder wanted in White County

Join our team: we are hiring a production welder in White County, Illinois. On the job you will handle: • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration Ideal candidate: • ITI in welder trade or equivalent • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
