Requirements: • 2+ years hands-on split and cassette AC installation experience • Physically fit to lift outdoor units and work in tight spaces • Can read electrical and piping schematics On a typical shift you will recover the refrigerant before dismantling or relocating a unit; insulate the suction line with Armaflex nitrile sleeving; core-drill through brick and concrete walls to route the refrigerant piping; cut, flare and bend copper pipe for the liquid and suction lines; braze pipe joints and pressure-test with dry nitrogen for leaks.
