We are recruiting: we are hiring a thermal insulation technician in Pepin County, Wisconsin. You will be based at a busy building site. Ideal candidate: • Working-at-height certificate an advantage • Own basic hand tools such as a utility knife and trowel • Confident using a gas torch to bond bituminous membrane On a typical shift you will fit mineral wool and glass wool batts between studs, joists and rafters; apply liquid waterproofing to bathrooms and terraces before tiling; work to drawings, hitting the specified U-values and insulation thickness; carry out flood and water tests on waterproofed areas to check for leaks; lag hot and cold water pipes with rockwool sections and aluminium cladding.
