Gas pipeline fitter — Manistee County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a gas pipeline fitter in Manistee County, Michigan. The job is at a boiler and appliance service centre. On the job you will handle: • Fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls • Run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints • Install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves • Fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances • Purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate What we are looking for: • Clean, methodical and safety-conscious • Valid gas fitter's licence and Gas Safe (or local) registration • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
