Great opportunity: we are hiring a lift installation engineer in Mille Lacs County, Minnesota. The job is in a hospital with heavy lift traffic. Day to day you will wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches; measure rope tension and check for broken strands; adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy; respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers. Requirements: • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. $5,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
