Urgent requirement: we are hiring a sheet metal press operator in Ouachita Parish, Louisiana. The job is at an auto components factory. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to stand a full shift and lift blanks up to 20 kg • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts Your main tasks: • Clear scrap and offcuts from the die area • Apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean • Deburr and stack finished components for the next operation • Record output and downtime on the production sheet • Load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed • Top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways We offer $19 per hour plus benefits.
