Join our team: we are hiring a slinger signaller in Essex County, Massachusetts. Your main tasks: • Fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads • Set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift • Coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area Requirements: • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
