Day to day you will stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action; record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date; audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges; verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates; take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry. Requirements: • Clear spoken delivery for toolbox talks and inductions • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
