Now hiring: we are hiring a steel erection rigger in Dunn County, Wisconsin. The job is at a container port. Day to day you will rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position; set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads; inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use; tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear; coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller; take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings. What we are looking for: • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
