Requirements: • Confident working at height on ladders and scaffolds • Strong enough to lift tile packs and felt rolls all day On the job you will handle: • Install metal flashing around chimneys and skylights • Lay underlayment and tar paper before tiling • Torch on bitumen membrane across flat roofs • Hang box gutters and downpipes for rainwater • Fix clay and concrete tiles onto the battens • Set out battens to the correct gauge and spacing Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
