Immediate opening: we are hiring a powder coating technician in Mohave County, Arizona. You will be based at a powder coating unit. What we are looking for: • Knowledge of pre-treatment and phosphating process • Can read film thickness gauges and colour codes • Keen eye for finish quality and surface defects The role involves: • Record batch numbers, oven temperatures and coating thickness • Reclaim and sieve overspray powder for reuse • Inspect the finish for runs, orange peel and bare patches • Top up and monitor pre-treatment chemical bath concentrations • Apply an even powder coat with the electrostatic spray gun • Run colour changeovers and clean the booth between batches At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
