You should have: • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work The role involves clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents; give each garment a final press before packing; hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing; set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics; meet the daily piece target without damaging garments; spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts.
