Great opportunity: shuttering and concrete hand (England)

Now hiring: we are hiring a shuttering and concrete hand in Gateshead, England. The job is in a residential housing project. On a typical shift you will compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing; cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing; give broom or steel-trowel finishes as specified; cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days; patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout; set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins. You should have: • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules • 2+ years on RCC and concreting works Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
