Join our team: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in St. Mary Parish, Louisiana. You will be based at a precision engineering workshop. You will control heat input so thin sheet does not warp; clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding; feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle; set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Own basic hand tools and PPE Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
