Tig welder wanted in Iron County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a tig welder in Iron County, Utah. Day to day you will carry out 6G pipe welds where required; control heat input so thin sheet does not warp; inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion; prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run; grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper; set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection 1+ years on the tools preferred. Pay around $5,300 per month, based on your experience. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
