Painter and decorator • Gbonyin, Ekiti State

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a painter and decorator in Gbonyin, Ekiti State. The job is on a residential building site. On a typical shift you will prep and prime metal, treating rust with red-oxide primer; mask off windows, skirting and fittings with tape and sheeting; lay down dust sheets and protect floors and furniture; carry out snagging and touch-ups before handover; cut in neat edges along ceilings, cornices and door frames; apply primer, undercoat and two topcoats with brush and roller. Ideal candidate: • Able to read colour schedules and follow a finish spec • Working-at-height / PASMA scaffold ticket an advantage • Sound knowledge of surface prep and the right primers Full-time with occasional weekends.
