Catering cook — Chatham County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a catering cook in Chatham County, North Carolina. You will be based in a hotel kitchen. On the job you will handle: • Check fryer oil and change it when it breaks down • Cook dishes to order on the grill, fry and sauté stations • Keep the station clean and sanitised throughout the shift • Label and date all prepped ingredients in the walk-in • Monitor food temperatures and run regular HACCP checks • Follow cleaning schedules and wash down work surfaces Requirements: • Familiar with North Indian, tandoor and continental cooking • Willing to work split shifts, weekends and public holidays Full-time, day shift.
