Aluminium TIG welder wanted in Taylor County

We are recruiting: we are hiring an aluminium TIG welder in Taylor County, Wisconsin. The job is on a structural steel site. You will keep the arc length and travel speed consistent; select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel; strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal; sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size; TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer; read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing. Requirements: • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety Part-time with flexible hours. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Walk-in interviews this week.
