Immediate opening: concrete shuttering carpenter (Oklahoma)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a concrete shuttering carpenter in Beckham County, Oklahoma. The job is at a reinforced concrete building site. Your main tasks: • Brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour • Watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement • Fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure • Set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking • Cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs • Check alignment with spirit level, plumb bob and string line Requirements: • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing • 2+ years on RCC and formwork on building or infrastructure sites • Skilled with circular saw, hand tools and spirit level At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
