Join our team: offshore rigger (Minnesota)

Vacancy available: we are hiring an offshore rigger in Lac qui Parle County, Minnesota. You will be based at a container port. What we are looking for: • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites On a typical shift you will read lift plans and method statements before starting; establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area; guide loads through tight openings into their final position; carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle; select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight. Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
