Structural MIG welder wanted in Alamosa County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a structural MIG welder in Alamosa County, Colorado. You will clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead; check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration; control distortion with a balanced welding sequence; weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions; load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls. Ideal candidate: • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
