Urgent requirement: we are hiring a plasterer's mate in Lee County, Iowa. What we are looking for: • Able to read drawings and set out work to a deadline • Knowledge of different plasters, renders and bonding agents Your main tasks: • Set up trestles and scaffold boards for ceiling work • Fix and set angle beads, stop beads and corner beads • Skim plasterboard to a smooth finish ready for decoration • Dub out hollows and uneven areas before skimming • Check walls for plumb and level as you go Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
