Now hiring: we are hiring a cement mason in Charlotte County, Virginia. Day-to-day duties: • Compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing • Cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days • Screed and level slabs to the marked dead level and falls • Mix concrete to the specified grade (M15, M20, M25) by hand or in a mixer What we are looking for: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long hours on your feet • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours Full-time with occasional weekends. $5,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
