Argon welder wanted in Dearborn County

Great opportunity: we are hiring an argon welder in Dearborn County, Indiana. What we are looking for: • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings The role involves: • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
