Argon welder wanted in Fayette County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an argon welder in Fayette County, Alabama. You will be based at an automotive body and exhaust shop. Day to day you will grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish; run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec; select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel; strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal; sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size. What we are looking for: • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard 3+ years on the tools preferred.
