Now hiring: we are hiring a plasterer's mate in Vermilion County, Illinois. You will be based in a refurbishment property. What we are looking for: • Physically fit for lifting bags of plaster and mixing all day • Good head for heights for ceiling and stairwell work On a typical shift you will float and rule off walls to a flat surface with a straightedge; mix gypsum plaster and cement render to a workable consistency; set up trestles and scaffold boards for ceiling work; fix and set angle beads, stop beads and corner beads; dub out hollows and uneven areas before skimming. $3,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
