Now hiring: we are hiring a PVC profile cutter in Bastrop County, Texas. You will work at a uPVC door and window showroom-cum-workshop. The role involves fuse-weld frame and sash corners on the welding machine and check the weld seam; crimp glazing beads to length and snap them into the frame; cut and weld mullions and transoms into the frame; clean welded corners on a corner-cleaning machine and chisel off the weld flash. Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of common hardware systems such as espagnolette and friction hinges • Able to read cutting lists and fabrication drawings • Confident on the double-mitre saw, welder and corner-cleaning machine At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time, day shift. Performance bonus on top of base pay. $4,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
