We are recruiting: argon welder (Minnesota)

Immediate opening: we are hiring an argon welder in Freeborn County, Minnesota. You will work on an industrial construction site. Day to day you will carry out 6G pipe welds where required; grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper; select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job; set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run. You should have: • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
