Immediate opening: we are hiring an oven operator in Columbia County, Pennsylvania. You will be based at a neighbourhood confectionery. The role involves laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter; check finished products for colour, crumb and weight; grease and clean baking trays, tins and moulds; pipe and fill cakes, pastries and cream rolls; load and unload the deck oven with a peel; decorate cakes with icing, fondant and fresh cream. You should have: • Accurate at weighing and following recipes • Understanding of food-safety and HACCP basics • Food handler / hygiene certificate Six days a week, one day off. Meals and transport allowance provided. Pay around $4,700 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
