Now hiring: we are hiring a laundry presser in Osborne County, Kansas. You will be based in a garment export house. Your main tasks: • Sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number • Remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron • Check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots • Use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics • Clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents Requirements: • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets Full-time, day shift. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Walk-in interviews this week.
