Join our team: we are hiring an argon welder in Pawnee County, Nebraska. Requirements: • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination The role involves: • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks • Sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. Overtime paid at a premium rate. $190 per day, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
