Site safety steward wanted in Gwer West

Great opportunity: we are hiring a site safety steward in Gwer West, Benue State. The job is in a warehouse and logistics yard. On the job you will handle: • Ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site • Run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry • Take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry • Check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements • Record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date Ideal candidate: • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements 2+ years on the tools preferred. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
