Bar bender and fixer • Westmoreland County, Virginia

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a bar bender and fixer in Westmoreland County, Virginia. You will work on a commercial tower construction site. You will lap and splice bars to the specified lap length; bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine; lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors; cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder; check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour. Requirements: • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time, day shift.
