GMAW welder wanted in Giles County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a GMAW welder in Giles County, Virginia. You will be based in a heavy engineering unit. What we are looking for: • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test • Willing to work shifts and overtime On the job you will handle: • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
