Join our team: we are hiring a pipe lagger in Borough of Halton, England. You will work in lofts and crawl spaces. What we are looking for: • Physically fit, able to lift and carry boards and rolls • Disciplined about PPE — respirator, gloves and goggles • Able to read construction drawings and specifications Day-to-day duties: • Torch-on bituminous waterproofing membrane to flat roofs, basements and foundations • Seal gaps around windows, doors and service penetrations with sealant • Fit acoustic insulation to partition walls and floating floors • Lag hot and cold water pipes with rockwool sections and aluminium cladding • Install vapour barriers and seal all joints and overlaps with tape Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. £2,750 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
