The role involves change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch; control distortion with a balanced welding sequence; weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions; set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator. Requirements: • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings • Willing to work shifts and overtime • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances Rotating shifts.
