Join our team: we are hiring a gas metal arc welder in Peoria County, Illinois. What we are looking for: • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently Your main tasks: • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch 5+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
