Vacancy available: we are hiring a quality checker in Ohio County, Kentucky. Requirements: • Confident using vernier callipers, micrometers and gauges • Good eyesight and colour vision for visual inspection • Strong attention to detail and accurate record-keeping Your main tasks: • Segregate and quarantine defective or out-of-tolerance items • Calibrate and verify hand gauges before each shift • Check visually for scratches, dents, burrs and colour variation • Escalate recurring defects to the line supervisor or QA engineer • Check packaging, labelling and barcode accuracy before dispatch • Carry out first-article and in-process checks on the production line 5+ years on the tools preferred.
