Vacancy available: we are hiring a precision welder in Isabella County, Michigan. Ideal candidate: • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings Your main tasks: • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions • Carry out 6G pipe welds where required • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode Full-time with occasional weekends. Meals and transport allowance provided. Pay around $4,400 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
