Aluminium tig welder wanted in Seward County

Immediate opening: we are hiring an aluminium tig welder in Seward County, Kansas. The job is in a pipe-spool fabrication yard. The role involves: • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal You should have: • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) 3+ years on the tools preferred.
