Elevator technician wanted in Iberia Parish

Vacancy available: we are hiring an elevator technician in Iberia Parish, Louisiana. You will be based at a busy lift company. On the job you will handle: • Test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake • Rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables • Service the traction motor, brake and gearbox • Fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork • Wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches • Measure rope tension and check for broken strands You should have: • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards $4,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
