Tile mason wanted in Champaign County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a tile mason in Champaign County, Illinois. Day-to-day duties: • Level large-format tiles with a tile levelling system • Match the tile pattern and coursing across the walls • Apply a waterproofing membrane in showers and wet areas • Mix tile adhesive and cement mortar to the right consistency • Make curved cuts and holes with an angle grinder and tile drill bits • Spread adhesive with a notched trowel and back-butter the tiles You should have: • Knowledge of waterproofing and substrate preparation • Own a basic set of tiling tools (trowels, spacers, levels) • Familiar with porcelain, ceramic, mosaic and natural stone Six days a week, one day off.
