You should have: • Own basic hand tools (hammers, dollies, files) • Confident reading insurance estimates and damage reports • Able to set up and use a frame/jig straightening bench Day to day you will replace damaged doors, wings, bonnets and bumpers; shrink stretched and oil-canned metal with a shrinking hammer; mask off glass, rubbers and trim before painting; treat rust, apply seam sealer and underbody protection. 1+ years on the tools preferred.
