Urgent requirement: fry cook (Nebraska)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a fry cook in Jefferson County, Nebraska. You will be based in a catering banquet kitchen. On a typical shift you will prepare the mise en place before each service; marinate meats and prepare curries, gravies and bases; check fryer oil and change it when it breaks down; plate and garnish dishes for a quick pass to service; monitor food temperatures and run regular HACCP checks; check deliveries and rotate stock using FIFO. What we are looking for: • Able to read and follow recipes and dockets • Able to lift heavy stock pots and sacks of supplies • Strong knife skills and speed on the line Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
